Annual awards for residents of Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, or Texas who are FFA members and are graduating high school seniors enrolling at a two or four year college or university pursuing studies in Agriculture. Fifty percent of applicants family's income must come from production agriculture. Preference given to students whose family's raise corn, grain, sorghum or soybeans. Students must be U.S. citizens. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA, ACT or SAT scores, class rank, financial need, leadership abilities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Nonrenewable.
