Description
Annual awards for active duty Air Force enlisted personnel who have two years or less left in college wanting to separate from active duty and enroll in a college offering AFROTC to become a commissioned officer. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have one year time in service, have one year time on station, pass the AFROTC Physical Fitness Test, have qualifying AFOQT scores, be commissioned for active duty before age 35, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Upon completion cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants and must return to active duty for at least four years.
