Annual awards for students from under-represented ethnic groups who are Southern California residents living or attending school in a Southern California Edison service area. Student's must be graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university in California. Students must take the SAT I by December 2 and request scores be released to the Hine Scholarship. Applicants will be ranked by score from which 100 students will be asked to complete an application. Two recipients will be selected based on academic performance, leadership skills, and extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to candidate's with financial need. Contact student's Guidance Counselor or Edison International for more information. Due date and number of awards varies.
