Description
Annual awards for graduating high school seniors or current freshmen with an interest in the Army-ROTC and are enrolling/enrolled in an Army ROTC college or university. Applicants must be between 17-26 years of age and be U.S. citizens. Awards are based on: ACT score (minimum 19) or SAT score (minimum 920); good high school GPA (minimum 2.5); participation in leadership, extracurricular and athletic activities; pursue an Army-approved academic major; agree to accept a commission as either a Regular Army, Army National Guard or U.S. Army Reserve officer; meet physical standards; personal interview with the Professor of Military Science; pass a Physical Aptitude Examination. Award amount is for four years and can include tuition, educational fees, book allowance, and/or tax-free monthly allowance. Due date and number of awards may vary.
