Description
Annual awards for undergraduates with an interest in the Army-ROTC, who are attending an Army ROTC college or university and have at least two academic years remaining. Applicants must be between 17-27 years of age and be U. S. citizens. Awards are based on: meeting the required CGPA (minimum 2.5) in all academic courses (and military science courses if already enrolled in ROTC); be recommended by the Professor of Military Science; participation in leadership, extracurricular and athletic activities; pursue an Army-approved academic major; agree to accept a commission as either a Regular Army, Army National Guard or U.S. Army Reserve officer; meet physical standards; personal interview with the Professor of Military Science; and pass a Physical Aptitude Examination. Award amount is for three years and can include tuition, educational fees, book allowance, and/or tax-free monthly allowance. Due date and number of awards may vary.
