Annual awards for African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, or Pacific Islanders, who are high school seniors, first year undergraduate students who have not completed more than 1-semester of work, OR a NTA student member at any undergraduate level. Applicants must compete in a science competition, be a U.S. citizen, and be majoring in Architecture, Biological Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Science Education, or Technology at any accredited postsecondary institution. Awards are based on scholarship, school/community activities, leadership, references, and writing ability. Nonrenewable. Contact the Association, in October, for more information an/or application; include a self-addressed envelope with enough postage to cover up to 2 ounces.
