Annual awards for residents of one of the twenty nine states affiliated with the American Soybean Association who are FFA members and are graduating high school seniors or current undergraduates enrolling/enrolled at a four year college or university pursuing studies in Agriculture. Students must be U.S. citizens. Affiliated states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA, ACT or SAT scores, class rank, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Nonrenewable.
