• Popular events on campus: Salem State College Series is nationally known as a premier college lecture program. Three speakers are featured each year, allowing more than 7, 500 members of the community the opportunity to interact with notable national and international political figures, entertainers, and opinion leaders, The Center for Creative and Performing Arts at SSC provides diverse, high quality and affordable cultural events in theatre, dance, music, creative writing and art for all members of the college community and the Greater North Shore Community; we produce nearly one hundred events each year from student performances to world class artists and performers, Athletic Events (Men’s Basketball (NCAA), Women’s Basketball (NCAA), Ice Hockey (ECAC), Golf (ECAC), Women’s Soccer (ECAC Champions)
