Collins College was founded in 1978 by Al Collins and his wife. Their goal was to inspire new designers to reach their goals of a college education in their field. Collins College offers programs in Film, Video and Visual FX, Interactive Media, and Visual Arts and Design.
Collins College has grown from a small group of designers to a large college with two campuses in Arizona. Class sizes are typically based on a 1:25 ratio, making it easy for students to have personal interactions with their professors. Students receive much hands-on training at Collins College. Collins College prides itself on having industry-current equipment and a constantly evolving curriculum, which both help prepare the student for their careers. Collins College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
