Scholarships 4 Dads

Fathers can earn a $10,000 scholarship to continue their college education..

BACKGROUND

Scholarships4Dads.com is a web site offering a $10,000 scholarship to dads who want to go back to school and become financially independent. You simply register on their home page to enter yourself for a chance to win the scholarship. While registering you also view information on schools that are offering online courses, traditional campus courses and have the opportunity to search for student loans.

Although the site shows you information about these schools, you’re not required to receive information from any of them in order to register for the scholarship. Once you finish registering, you are entered into the drawing for the scholarship.

Scholarships4Dads.com allows you to see the testimony of previous winners. There are several drawings each year, so winners can receive their funds at anytime and start classes right away. If you are declared the winner of the $10,000 scholarship, you can use the money to go to any school of your choice. Using the money to pay for student loans, tuition, books or GED coursework are all acceptable ways to spend the money. The rules for the contest even allow you to share the money with a friend or family member if you choose to do that.

Currently the scholarship is only available to US citizens 18 years old or older. But for those that are interested and younger than 18, a family member may enter on their behalf. The scholarship drawing is combined with other sites all under the Free College Scholarships umbrella, so each winner doesn’t necessarily come specifically from those that register on Scholarships4Dads.com.

PRO

– $10,000 scholarship awarded several times per year
– Ability to use the money for any school-related expenses

– Ability to use money to repay student loans
– Share the money with a friend or family member
– No minimum grade point average or test score needed to be eligible
– Encourages dads to further their education

CON

– No way to give yourself an advantage to win the scholarship
– Several sites registering people for each drawing
– No way to gauge how many people have registered for a particular drawing
– Several schools pop up wanting to contact you for info while you’re registering

EXPENSE

There is no expense involved with Scholarships4Dads.com. You register to win a $10,000 scholarship, but there are no fees for entering.

DEGREE PROGRAMS

Upon winning the $10,000 scholarship from Scholarships4Dads.com, you may pursue any degree you desire. You can use the money to repay student loans you may already have, or put it towards books, tuition and other living expenses. The money may also be shared with other family members or a friend.

SCHOOLS

There is no restriction on which school you attend. Online programs and traditional programs are eligible if you win the scholarship. The money really can go towards your choice of expenses at any school.

CONCLUSION

Whether you’re looking to take some classes, get your GED or pay down some student loan debt, Scholarships4Dads.com has a simple solution. You can simply register and possibly win a $10,000 scholarship to do with what you please. There aren’t a lot of scholarships out there that have such easy entrance requirements. You simply fill out the form, decide if you want the information that is provided from different schools, and wait. There are several drawings per year for this scholarship, so you can apply more than once. Although other sites are used to register people as well, it doesn’t hurt to give it a try. You could be the next winner of the easiest $10,000 you ever received.

I am 28 years old, I had to quit college to help my mom with the family farm; after my father died. I have been a welder since I was 18 years old. I have an Opportunity to have a career at the vo-tech school as an instructor, if I can get my degree. I can not afford this expense with a baby
