Description
Annual awards for residents of selected Iowa counties who are FFA members and are graduating high school seniors enrolling at a two or four year college or university pursuing studies to become a specialist in Agriculture, Engineering, Forestry, Management, Finance, or Pre-Veterinary. Selected counties are Benton, Cedar, Chickasaw, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Floyd, Hardin, Jackson, Jones, Linn or Marshall. Students must be U.S. citizens. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA, ACT or SAT scores, class rank, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Nonrenewable.
