Walter Reed Smith Scholarship - Business Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for female lineal descendants of eligible Confederates or collateral descendants who are members of Children of the Confederacy or United Daughters of the Confederacy and are undergraduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in Business Administration, Computer Science, Home Economics, Nutrition, or Nursing. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in high school and be endorsed by the President, the Second Vice President/Education Chairman of Chapter and Division, and the Second Vice President General. Number of awards and award amount may vary. A copy of Confederate ancestor's proof of service, copy of student's birth certificate, lineage form, letter of endorsement from sponsoring United Daughters of the Confederacy Chapter, financial report form, personal letter, and a wallet size photograph must be included with application packet. Renewable.
